Jim C. Klepper, Esq. Attorney at Law, Founder, and
President Interstate Trucker LTD.TM
Mr. Klepper received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from Southwestern
Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctorate from the Oklahoma City University
School of Law. Jim is still a registered pharmacist, which has proven instrumental
in numerous cases involving drugs, alcohol, or prescriptive misapplication.
Jim served with distinction as prosecutor in Seminole, Hughes, and Pontotoc County
(OK) representing the counties in countless traffic-related hearings. Jim took that
experience, along with a lifetime affinity for trucking, to establish a national
law firm entirely dedicated to transportation law, specifically the representation
of CDL drivers. He then founded
Drivers Legal PlanTM and Interstate
Trucker LTDTM, designed to make the services of his firm
affordable to the common commercial driver.
Mr. Klepper currently holds licenses to practice law in an incredible 16 states,
as well as numerous federal, district, circuit, chancery courts, and the United
States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, and several
state Bar Associations. His firm has handled over one hundred thousand cases, and
the resulting case database is certainly one of the foremost resources of its kind
in the country.
Extremely active and visible in the industry he represents, Jim has become a noted
author & lecturer. He authored the "Trucker's Legal Guide," which has become and
industry standard. His journalistic efforts are primarily manifest in advice columns
and articles in trucking trade journals, in an ongoing, altruistic endeavor to pass
on good, common sense legal knowledge to his trucking clientele. Jim currently serves
in a tenured position on the Board of Directors of the Truck and Carrier Association,
The Oklahoma Trucking Association, and is a former member of the Board of Directors
for the Arkansas Trucking Association. Jim also maintains a current CDL.
Larry Derryberry, Esq. Attorney at Law
Mr. Derryberry is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and University of Oklahoma
School of Law. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, and is licensed to
practice before all the courts of the State of Oklahoma; the United States Court
of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
A prominent and enduring state leader, Mr. Derryberry served multiple terms in the
Oklahoma House of Representatives and served as Chairman of the Congressional Redistricting
Committee, Assistant Majority Floor Leader, and Speaker Pro Tempore of the House
of Representatives.
Following his legislative career, Mr. Derryberry was elected Attorney General of
the State of Oklahoma, becoming the youngest Attorney General in the state's history.
He was reelected to a second term, and his tenure as the state's top attorney is
still considered the performance benchmark for that position.
Though still a distinguished public servant via many boards and consultancies, Mr.
Derryberry founded and functions as Senior Partner in the prominent law firm which
bears his name. Mr. Derryberry is a principal defense attorney practicing primarily
in the areas of civil trial litigation, administrative law, insurance defense and
regulation, utility and health care law.
